The check into mini club was a bit chaotic initially and my sons (6 and 8) were a bit worried about not being able to understand much French however this was soon rectified as they worked out which GOs spoke English, they found some English speaking children to hang out with and also befriended French children and worked out a way to communicate (which was one of the reasons we chose club med over mark warner so it wasn't just Brits). Play water polo in Club Medâ¦ A 10 out of 10 for us .We were close to everything even from the main beach - main Restaurant - reception - gym classes - mini club- circus and more.Even though the rooms in the hotel might be more modern with a balcony , I wouldn't stay there if you don't want total peace and quiet and don't want to walk back and forth constantly as all shows -animation -main restaurant and main beach with all sports is not so close although the hotel has its own restaurant .Nevertheless, the hotel has its own beautiful beach as well as its own smaller pool and pool bar surrounded by grass which is also nice with beautiful manicured lawns and plants .Main pool :Very beautiful - clean and the biggest in Europe I think .Crasy signs and music / games daily .The chef the village :is Nathalie who is wonderful .She is friendly and goes around the village on her motorbike - ( as it's a very big village with 1,700 people the 1st week early July up to 2,000 people or more the next when we were there ( 700 kids ) but one never really have the impression there are so many people as the place is huge )- and you can see her at the beach - at the restaurant - in the morning at some excursion departures and evening animation if not on the trapeze herself !She is also on the beach offering drinks at times .
